Stayed at the Tokmak apartments from 22nd June - 1st of July and had such a lovely time. The room was lovely, clean and modern. Food at the apartments was also lovely - we had lunch there twice. The location of the apartments is beautiful , quite far out to feel peaceful and relaxed but close enough that you are a short walk from all the amenities of the resort.
The staff, the owner and his family also all waved us off when we had to go which was very lovely. I would recommend these apartments, and would love to return. I just returned 2 days ago on arrival we was a bit shocked how far out to be honest it's near the Wednesday market and we was greeted by the girl on the front desk and given the top floor , we asked for a better positon and was promised Monday but did it happen NO , we was left looking at a brick wall , so we only slept their and did not use the facility's , the rooms were clean and really not much more to say but not staying there again.
We stayed at club tokmak between the 6th and 20th June Before we had gone I had read the reviews on trip advisor and had fairly high expectations. I was not let down. The staff there made our holiday one of the best we have had they could not have done any more for us and the hotel is a great size if you have a young family. The mix of both Turkish and English staff family is a great combination and you were all wonderful people that obviously work hard.
Rooms are spacious and were cleaned every day. We had a two bed apartment that backed onto the market which worried me a bit at first as I thought we may be effected by noise but I heard nothing. The only thing I would ask for was a dustpan and brush in our room so we could clean up after ourselves. I think it is worth noting that you get what you pay for, the hotel is 3 star and the rooms reflect this but this is what you have paid for and that doesn't take away that you get 5 star service from the staff.
The hotel is situated a bit further back than some other hotels but this did not bother us,it meant it was quieter and the walk was good for us considering the amount of food we ate most evenings. Weather was beautiful and the resort of icmeler shall definitely be somewhere we shall visit again.
